Welcome! Over the last week, how many of you thought about giving yourself permission? Would anyone like to share something you gave yourself permission to do/think/feel?
Marianne Williamson once said, “It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves ‘who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?”
What does that quote mean to you?
Who here has ever worried about being interesting?
What does ‘being interesting’ mean to you? What makes someone interesting?
Does your definition of interesting change, depending on who you’re talking about? For instance, is it the same for guys and girls, teens and adults?
We are all more interesting that we think are. There are lots of things about your personality, life experiences, struggles, and joys that make you unique and interesting.
If you’d like, take some time and think about what makes YOU interesting. Maybe you have an unusual scar, can do a silly human trick of some sort, have an unusual family history, a hidden talent, a collection of some sort, a fascination for off-beat movies or music, an unusual favorite food…whatever. If you'd like, leave an anonymous comment about what makes you interesting. We’ll share them at next week’s lunch.
Thanks for coming, Sisters.

I am different, interesting, unique, and not everybody likes me. I am okay with that! As long as I am being myself, it is better than having everyone like me and being somebody else. I like to act, and the hardest person to act like is myself, because all the pressure.
I think that for me it's harder to be myself because...well I don't care what other people think, really. But I care what I think. What if I act like who I am and I don't like what I see?
Yay! I'm the second to write something!
I think that everyone is interesting in their own way. Also you shold never hide your skills it is a positive thing to show them and if you do more people will apreciate you.
I'm interesting because I make interesting mistakes.
Anyhoo, this is such a cool website. Keep up the good work with your sisters and their connections!
I am interesting because I am different and don't care what other people think about me. That's people todays biggest problem that they care so much abut what other people think about them so they change who they are!
Great site keep up the good work sisters!
There are people who I love and care about who sometimes don't make me feel interesting. However, thats okay because whenever i feel sad about that, i remember that my Mom always listens to me and i feel like she always thinks what i am doing or saying is interesting. I get that support from her and I give that support to the other people who don't have the ability to give it to me.
There are some people or characters that mastered the interesting subject. Like Luna Lovegood(harry potter), Stargirl (from Stargirl),Jenna(13 going on 30), Raven, Oprah, and Evanna Lynch. These characters or celeberties are the people I look up to, they are real.
If I have don't have a friend to talk to or a parent to talk to about my feelings who should i talk to?
You should come talk to your school counselor. If your last name starts with A-K, it's Ms. Ramacciotti. If it starts with L-Z, it's me, Ms. Elliot. We would love to be able to be there for you...
To ANON 7:
Interesting is not a subject. You do not have to master it. You do not have to be a do-gooder with a talk show or a misstical, dreamy young Ravenclaw to be it. You do not have to be a charecter or celebrity to be it. In fact, interesting is not what you should try to be--what you should try to be is yourself. Remember that soemtimes people that are interesting are more concerned with being interesting than being nice or being a good friend. Over time, these people dissapear, and it's just those that aren't trying to be like Luna Lovegood, that don't think of interesting as a subject. THe only way to truly be interesting forever is being yourself. And you are whoever you want to be. Don't try to be anyone else.
